Kristen lives her life with heart, creativity, and desire to move the world forward. She is an artist, a creator, and a change-maker. She loves to bring a soul to any facet she works with and cultivates that creative impulse with the world around her. She has spent nearly 17 years of her career growing the vision and brand platforms of Parade, Gap, Victoria’s Secret, and Abercrombie & Fitch. Most recently, she led the Concept and Design team for Parade as a social change agent in design. A cultural historian, finding her next nugget of inspiration, was the perfect match for her. Her niche markets of kids, intimates, and women’s make her mind tick for “what is next?” A well-told story from start to finish is her specialty. A forever storyteller. As a change agent, she has written a college class, Concept-to-Community: Practicum in Fashion Concept Design & Marketing that she began teaching digitally in spring 2021 at Michigan State University. Her love of youth and culture brought this to the rising generation of change agents. Her many years of research and passion for this industry, propelled her to bring focus to the ever-changing narratives, and the WHY to our purpose.

In her spare time, she is dreaming up projects at her home with her family, arranging flowers and baking up a storm; her famous chocolate chip cookies. Her little project, Owls Bakes & Blooms was created in honor of her best friend, her golden retriever, Owl. As a mother of a curious seven-year-old, there is a never dull moment of new learning. A lifelong student, she can be found at the Artists Student League, painting and sketching, writing passionately in her many journals, or curled up with one of her many books.

She aims to live her life in authentic expression and community and to evolve and raise consciousness continually. We don't make "stuff" to sell, but narrate a story and a vision. Kristen can lead and architect a brand with a larger purpose than a bottom line. She is forever curious, learning, digging deeper, and ready to move the world forward, together.
